i saw venus with the moon last nite
a vision, perhaps, conjured up by sprites;
so near, yet so far away,
teasing, alluring, with her innocent play

Chilling out with my JC mate in Shanghai!
New Heights Bar, Three on the Bund, Shanghai, China

It’s always great to meet up and chill with friends whom you havn’t met for a while, especially when you are on holidays! Met up with Wanling and walked around a bit before setting at New Heights Bar for great food, great drinks, great view on the Bund and Pudong, and great company! :)

The elevated walkway is the perfect location to shoot the pudong area. You can see how busy the roundabout is, especially at night when buses starts to pick up and drop off bus loads of tourists. Further up, you can see the entire Century Avenue, and the Pudong financial district alongside.

Oriental Pearl Tower
Lujiazui, Shanghai, China

Oriental tower has always been one of the landmark of Pudong area, and one of the most commonly taken photo from the Bund across the river. In April 2010, Shanghai launched the USD11mil elevated pedestrian walkway connecting lujiazui and century avenue, in preparation for the world expo. This provided the perfect opportunity for tourist and photographers alike to have a elevated and undisturbed platform to take photos of the Oriental tower as well as the pudong financial district.
